Vrsta gomoljasta zečina Centaurea tuberosa Vis. skupljena je na lokalitetu Tijarica (Hrvatska). Rod Centaurea pripada porodici glavočike ili Asteraceae zbog čega ima karakteristični cvat. Biljke su većinom endemi te imaju brojne žlijezdane dlake i žlijezde koje stvaraju sekundarne metabolite. Provedena je GC/FID i GC/MS analiza izoliranog eteričnog ulja biljke Centaurea tuberosa Vis. Rezultati su prikazani pomoću kromatogama, tablice sa spojevima i grafičkim prikazom. Najzastupljeniji spojevi u sastavu eteričnog ulja su oksigenirani seskviterpeni, ugljikovodici i seskviterpenski ugljikovodici, a u manjem postotku je pronađeno i oksigeniranih monoterpena, alifatskih uglikovodika i monoterpenskih ugljikovodika. ; The species Centaurea tuberosa Vis. is collected at the locality Tijarica (Hrvatska). The genus Centaurea belongs to Asteraceae or Compositae family, giving it the characteristic inflorescence. The plants are mostly endemic and they have glandular hairs and glands that produce secondary metabolites. The chemical composition of the essential oils was obtained by hydrodistillation by GC/FID and GC/MS analysis. The results have been conducted and shown as chromatogram, table and chart. The most common compounds in the composition of essential oil were oxygenated sesquiterpenes, hydrocarbons and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, and at a lower percentage were found oxygenated monoterpenes, aliphatic hydrocarbons and monoterpene hydrocarbons.
