A recent study conducted in a slum area of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, aimed to assess essential life skills among adolescents. The study involved 158 school-going children between the ages of 10 and 19, and assessed their skills in time management, communication, leadership, goal setting, and coping. The findings showed that the mean global life skills score was 212.9.
