The article presents a study which discusses the chemical composition of the essential oil from the rhizomes of the Cyrtomium fortumei in China. The study is investigated by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC/MS), supercritical carbon dioxide extraction assay (SFE-CO2), and flame ionization detector (FID). Results show that 21 compounds were detected from the essential oil.
