The article discusses the chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of essential oil (EO) from seeds of Anethum graveolens in Uzbekistan. It states that a total of 22 chemical compounds were identified in EO of A. graveolens, which include carvone, limonene and diplaniol. According to the article, complicated mixtures of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes from A. graveolens EO featured antimicrobial and fungicidal activities.
