Composition of the essential oil of Artemisia ciniformis, A. kopetdaghensis, and A. khorasanica in Iran.

The article presents a study which aims to identify the composition of the essential oils of the Artemisia species in Iran. Results show that the main components of the essential oil of Artemisia ciniformis is dominated by monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, while Artemisia kopetdaghensis is consists of monoterpene hydrocarbons and myrcene. It adds that Artemisia khorasanica is composed of cineol and camphor. A table of relative compounds that comprised the plant's essential oils are provided.
