The article discusses the component composition and antimicrobial activity of essential oil from Artemisia kasakorum, a specie similar to Siberian steppe species A. nitrosa. A. kasakorum is confined to strongly saline tertiary clays and soft and wet alkaline soils. A. Nitrosa. Essential oils from A. kasakorum is derived through preliminary activity of microdilutions and minimal inhibiting concentration (MIC). Tables for the component composition of essential oil from A. Kasakorum is presented.
