The minor constituents of the NL were free fatty acids; fatty acid esters with aliphatic alcohols, triterpenoids, and sterols; free sterols; and triterpenols, hydrocarbons, and carotenes. Fatty-acid methyl esters were eluted from the silica gel by a mixture (19:1) of hexane and Et SB 2 sb O. TLC analyses of NL and triacylglycerins used silica gel 5/40 m and hexane-Et SB 2 sb O (7:3 and 4:1, v/v). Besides terpenoid compounds in EO from fruit of I F. karatavica i , phenols, alkanes, alkenes, fatty acids, etc. were also identified. [Extracted from the article]
